Trace-It Pens – Detectable, Retractable – Clip Connection

BST Trace-it® brand metal detectable pens are designed to be used in food industry production areas – with FDA and EU food-contact approvals – HACCP and BRC8. They are an economical alternative to premium retractable pens for food factories, and feature a metal-detectable and x-ray-visible plastic body and insert. This detectable pen is made from strong, durable, chemical-resistant and shatter-resistant material, and is compatible with standard lanyards. There is a clip connection to help hold the pen in a pocket.

Use these Trace-It pens to document various aspects of food production processes, such as temperature checks, expiration dates, and production batches. With that documentation, the origin and movement of products can be traced, thus helping determine the scope of a contamination and need for a recall.

We sell these pens in packs of 50. They are available in a blue or red body with two ink choices: blue and black.
