Testrods (also called wands, sticks or bars) are used to check and calibrate metal detectors used in food processing operations. Testrods are made from an indestructible acetal material, and are 1/2″ x 5″. They are available to test for ferrous metals, non-ferrous metals, and 316 stainless steel. The test sticks are color-coded for those materials, and are generally used on conveyor lines to calibrate detectors to ensure food safety. We offer these testrods in numerous metal detection sizes.
Testrods from Malloy Supply are USDA and FDA approved for use in food processing and handling operations. All of our test and calibration products include complimentary certificates of conformity.
