Metal Detectable Tape

Metal detectable tape that is 2″ wide x 55 yards in length, and self-adhesive. The tape has a thin layer of metal foil that makes it detectable by metal detection systems. The adhesive coating has a backing that needs to be peeled off before applying. That makes it easy to cut an appropriate length. The adhesive features a high initial tack and ultimate strength that bonds to a wide variety of substrates, including low-surface-energy plastics, treated glass, and corrugated cardboard. It is heat resistant.

The adhesive, which is like duct tape, is suitable for food processing and handling operations where compliance with FDA 175.105 is required. (That section covers applications where incidental contact between food and adhesive could occur.)

This metal detectable tape has heat resistance to 428º F.
