This pressurized, metal and x-ray detectable retractable pen is made from a shatterproof plastic and contains no small parts or springs. It has a lanyard connection hole. The pen will write in temperatures down to -35^o F, making it suitable for use in cold, food processing environments. They work in freezing, dusty or greasy applications.
