Our metal-detectable pens are made from a shatterproof plastic and contain no small parts or springs – making them safe for use in food processing operations when you need to ensure food safety. Make sure your detector is properly calibrated. Manufactured to FDA standards and BRC 8 compliant.

The nib of each pen is retractable. Each pen has a lanyard connection hole. These retractable pens also are detectible by X-ray machines commonly used in the food industry. They are available in a blue body color, with blue or black ink.
